Actor-turned-politician and TVK chief Vijay has been summoned once more by the CBI in connection with the Karur stampede case of September 2025. The fresh summons comes amid speculation of possible alliance talks between the BJP and Vijay’s party ahead of the Assembly elections.
The CBI questioned TVK chief and actor Vijay for over six hours for the second time in the Karur stampede case. Officials said questions focused on rally planning, crowd management and decision-making, as the agency continues its probe following a Supreme Court order
