Gujarat police arrested Sridhar from Hyderabad in Karimnagar on Friday night for allegedly kidnapping a boy, whom he claimed to have brought from Mumbai. The accused was taken to Gujarat, and the child was placed in a children’s home.

The top court was hearing an appeal filed by Telangana resident Shaik Ahmed challenging a high court order.

On receiving a complaint, the Malakpet police formed special teams including the task force and with the help of the CCTVs solved the case.
