Kunal Kamra, a vocal critic of the present ruling establishment has stated that the shows scheduled for 20 days have been cancelled in the backdrop of threats and denial of permission by the police.

The top court had reserved its order on Thursday on a batch of pleas seeking initiation of contempt proceedings against Kamra and Taneja.

The plea emphasized that every follower of Kamra on Twitter must have read the tweets and more than 1,000 people have retweeted the scandalous tweets.
