Neeraj Chopra will compete in the Lausanne Diamond League on August 21 against a world-class javelin field led by Commonwealth Games champion Rumesh Pathirage. The meet marks Chopra's third event since returning from injury as he builds momentum for the remainder of the season
This was Chopra's best throw of the season and his second-best ever, reaching 89.45m in Paris. He was in fourth place until the end of the fourth round but moved into the top three with an 85.58m throw in his fifth attempt, securing a spot in the Diamond League 2024 final in Brussels next month.
