A Singapore coroner’s court heard that Indian singer-songwriter Zubeen Garg drowned off Lazarus Island in September 2025 after entering the water intoxicated and without a life jacket. Witnesses testified that Garg consumed alcohol during a yacht party and later went limp while swimming.
