Murali Sreeshankar scripted history at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow by clinching silver in men’s long jump, becoming India’s first double medallist in the event. The Kerala athlete, who had earlier won silver in Birmingham 2022, leapt 8.09m to secure second place behind Jamaica’s Tajay Gayle.
