Tension gripped Lucknow University after members of ABVP, VHP, and Bajrang Dal attempted to recite the Hanuman Chalisa at Lal Baradari, alleging discrimination as namaz was permitted at the site but Hindu prayers were not.
The two student organisations got into a heated argument and raised slogans against each other. However, the police and the university administration intervened and separated both the groups.
A play will be staged, discussion and poster-making competition will also be organised in which students will be told whom to report if you face sexual offence
