India’s women’s trap team of Neeru Dhanda, Aashima Ahlawat and Manisha Keer won the silver medal at the Asian Games 2026, helping take India’s shooting medal tally to 13. Neeru also qualified for the individual final after finishing joint-top in qualification.
Manisha Keer, a trap shooter from Madhya Pradesh, rose from humble beginnings to the international stage despite financial hardships and limited resources. Guided initially by her sister, she overcame challenges at the academy and competitions, eventually winning medals at the World Championships and Asian Games.
