MEA Spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal emphasized the importance of the 2+2 dialogue, stating, "The 2+2 dialogue with Japan is crucial for us, and this is the third such meeting. India-Japan relations are at a high point, and having the Foreign and Defence Ministers from both countries on the same platform will significantly enhance all aspects of our relationship."
