Atleast 200 dead after landslide collapses coltan mines in Eastern Congo
A landslide caused by heavy rain collapsed artisanal coltan mines in eastern Congo, killing more than 200 people. The mines, controlled by M23 rebels, are known for unsafe working conditions and supply a major share of the world’s tantalum.
Six buried alive in Jharkhand as roof of mine collapses
Two bodies have been retrieved so far and efforts are underway to trace the others, Koderma Superintendent of Police (SP) Ehtesham Waquarib said.
