Of the fatalities, 29 were from Cao Bang Province, 45 from Lao Cai Province, and 37 from Yen Bai Province. Local authorities in Tuyen Quang confirmed on Tuesday that the Lo River dyke in Quyet Thang commune had broken due to rising water levels, according to Xinhua and Vietnam News Agency.
