A sudden and intense downpour hit Hyderabad on Wednesday evening, flooding roads and disrupting power supply across several neighbourhoods. Northern and western zones including Serilingampally, Miyapur, and Chandanagar were worst affected, with rainfall crossing 97 mm in some pockets.
