Hyderabad’s Naveen Puligilla and veteran co-driver Musa Sherif created history by becoming the first all-Indian team to secure a podium finish in a World Rally Championship event, taking second place in the WRC3 category at the Saudi Arabia Rally 2025.
Naveen Pulligilla and co-driver Musa Sherif, representing Africa Eco Motorsport in a Ford Fiesta Rally3, were leading the WRC3 class with two stages remaining in the Safari Rally Kenya 2025. Unfortunately, mechanical issues with the lower arm forced them to withdraw. Despite this setback, they had already secured the RC3 class Kenyan National Rally Championship title, which concluded after 19 stages.
Current leader of the INRC overall category Gaurav Gill will be the driver to watch out for as he will hope to continue his stupendous run and aim for an encore
