Restrictions continued for the second day in parts of Srinagar, including Nowhatta and Naqshband Sahib, to prevent gatherings at the martyrs’ graveyard on Martyrs’ Day. Police and paramilitary forces were deployed in strength, while political leaders including Omar Abdullah and Mehbooba Mufti said they were barred from visiting the site.
