The Telangana Health department aims to administer Pulse Polio vaccine drops to more than 40.97 lakh children aged below five years during the National Immunization Day campaign. Over 22,000 booths and hundreds of mobile teams have been deployed across the State.
The Andhra Pradesh government will vaccinate nearly 50 lakh children under five years with two drops of oral polio vaccine on June 28, 2026, as part of National Immunization Day. A massive state-wide action plan has been rolled out with over 29,000 booths, 1.31 lakh personnel, and 68.6 lakh doses to ensure no child is missed.
