Industrial production has been hit due to the coronavirus pandemic since March last year when it had contracted 18.7 per cent.

The gross domestic product (GDP) had expanded by 3 per cent in the corresponding January-March period of 2019-20.

India estimated to record an economic growth of 7 per cent in 2021-22.

"India is already looking at 'V-shaped' recovery. Along with the green shoots in various sectors, in the month of February, FPI inflows were Rs 25,787 crore," Thakur said.
