The outcome of investigations over NEET paper leak allegations in Bihar and other Indian States, has intensified demands for re-conducting of NEET exams.
The Centre and the National Testing Agency (NTA) informed a vacation bench of justices Vikram Nath and Sandeep Mehta that students who received grace marks would have the option to take a re-test.
The apex court, however, refused to stay the counselling process and posted the case for hearing on July 8. "Let the counselling start, we are not stopping the counselling," the bench remarked.
Coaching institutions would now have to mention candidate’s rank, course and its duration, whether paid or free, in their advertisements and are barred from making the claim of 100 per cent selection, job guaranteed or guaranteed qualifying in any examination
The National Medical Commission (NMC) has expanded the eligibility criteria for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (Undergraduate) or NEET 2024 examination.
