Financial Services, IT, Media, Realty, and Consumer Durables sectors emerged as top gainers.In the broader market, the BSE MidCap rose by 1.04 percent, and the BSE SmallCap climbed 0.87 percent.

Compared to the largecap, midcap, and smallcap indices are underperforming. Nifty Midcap 100 is down 2.10 points at 49,107, and Nifty Smallcap 100 is down 3.90 points at 15,991.

Among sectors, almost all the major sectoral indices witnessed profit booking at higher levels but energy and metal indices lost the most, shedding nearly 3 per cent.

In early trading, the 30-share BSE Sensex surged by 470.92 points, reaching 75,082.03, while the NSE Nifty soared by 139.5 points, hitting an all-time high of 22,787.70.

In early trade, the 30-share BSE Sensex surged 242.49 points to reach 73,980.94, while the NSE Nifty rose by 63 points to 22,431.

Continuing its rebound from the previous day, the BSE Sensex surged 639.85 points to 73,728.18 in early trading, while the NSE Nifty rose by 190.1 points to 22,337.10.

The BSE Sensex rose by 381.78 points to reach a record high of 75,124.28, while the NSE Nifty climbed 99 points to hit a new peak of 22,765.30.

The BSE Sensex soared 497.06 points (0.67%) to reach a record high of 74,373.88, while the NSE Nifty rose 144.70 points (0.64%) to hit a new peak at 22,579.35.

Extending its winning momentum to the third day running, the 30-share BSE Sensex jumped 556.98 points to 74,208.33 in early trade. The NSE Nifty climbed 192.1 points to 22,519.

The BSE Sensex opened 178.02 points lower at 72,433.69, while the NSE Nifty started the day with a decline of 60.30 points, opening at 21,951.65.

Vaibhav Vidwani, Research Analyst at Bonanza Portfolio, said that as mutual funds started to release the stress test findings, the investors pulled out of the small and midcap equities.

The Nifty advanced 111.05 points to 22,446.75.

In early trading, the 30-share BSE Sensex rose by 93.51 points to reach 72,398.39, while the Nifty increased by 12.55 points to 21,963.70. However, both indices experienced volatility later on.

The 30-share BSE Sensex fell by 790.34 points or 1.08 per cent to settle at 72,304.88 with 26 of its constituents ending in the red and four in the green.
