The 30-share BSE Sensex dropped 144.66 points to 77,461.77 in early trading, while the NSE Nifty slipped 38.7 points to 23,553.25. Among the Sensex constituents, Mahindra & Mahindra, Infosys, Power Grid, Sun Pharma, HCL Tech, Bajaj Finance, IndusInd Bank, and Axis Bank were the top decliners.

The stock made its debut at Rs 330, rallying 12.24 per cent from the issue price on the BSE. Later, it surged 17.84 per cent to Rs 346.45

Bouncing back from Tuesday's debacle, the 30-share BSE Sensex jumped 2,303.19 points or 3.20 per cent to settle at 74,382.24 on value buying in banking, auto and oil shares.

Financial Services, IT, Media, Realty, and Consumer Durables sectors emerged as top gainers.In the broader market, the BSE MidCap rose by 1.04 percent, and the BSE SmallCap climbed 0.87 percent.

Vaibhav Vidwani, Research Analyst at Bonanza Portfolio, said that as mutual funds started to release the stress test findings, the investors pulled out of the small and midcap equities.

In terms of volume, 1.63 lakh shares of the company were traded on the BSE and over 92.86 lakh shares on the NSE during the day.

The company, in its release, further stated, "Categorically deny any investigation by the Enforcement Directorate on OCL, our associates, and/or its Founder and CEO for anti-money laundering activities.

The company's market valuation also jumped Rs 46,810.44 crore to reach Rs 17,92,872.53 crore.

The stock of the company declined 2.24 per cent to end at Rs 1,431.80 apiece on the BSE, emerging as one of the biggest laggards among the Sensex shares.

The exchange said the growth in the number of participants can be attributed to the momentum observed in capital markets.

NSE Clearing Ltd is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the National Stock Exchange (NSE) and Indian Clearing Corporation Ltd (ICCL) is an arm of BSE.

It has been directed to pay the fine within 45 days, the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Sebi) said in its order.
