Two men were stabbed in separate attacks on Manhattan's Upper West Side before NYPD officers arrested 51-year-old Raul Morales. Investigators are examining whether the assaults were hate crimes after witnesses said the suspect shouted "Allahu Akbar" during both incidents.
Unbeknownst to the officers, the suspect remained at the scene and was seated on a bench on the subway platform, just outside the train car. Body cameras worn by the officers caught a “very clear, detailed look” at the suspect and those images were publicly disseminated
