A 49-year-old woman fatally stabbed a woman and injured a man in New York’s Times Square before being shot dead by police. The incident unfolded near the NYPD substation at One Times Square.

Two men were stabbed in separate attacks on Manhattan's Upper West Side before NYPD officers arrested 51-year-old Raul Morales. Investigators are examining whether the assaults were hate crimes after witnesses said the suspect shouted "Allahu Akbar" during both incidents.
