Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu secretly visited the United Arab Emirates during Operation Roaring Lion, holding high-level talks with UAE President Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. Officials described the meeting as a “historic breakthrough” in bilateral relations.
The Israel Defence Forces said it killed Ali Yusuf Harshi, personal secretary and nephew of Hezbollah chief Naim Qassem, in Beirut. Israel also claimed strikes on Hezbollah weapons sites and crossings in Lebanon, while separately alleging the killing of a Hamas operative posing as a journalist
