A 24-year-old Pakistani man was detained after villagers found him hiding in a cattle shed near the International Border in Rajasthan’s Barmer district. BSF troops apprehended him and handed him over to police as agencies probe his infiltration route and motive.

A Pakistani intruder was arrested by BSF troops along the International Border in Jammu’s R S Pura sector. Identified as Siraj Khan from Pakistan’s Sargodha, he was intercepted near the Octroi post. Pakistani currency was recovered; interrogation is underway.

The intruder was identified as Abdul Gaffar, a 33-year-old resident of Minchinabad, Pakistan. He was carrying Pakistani Rupees 1,700 (around Rs 518)

The intruder was arrested shortly after he sneaked into the Indian side on Saturday night, the spokesperson said.

The incident took place near the Chak Faquira border post (border pillar no 64) in the Samba sector around 9:45 am.
