Paediatricians in Hyderabad have urged CDSCO to mandate single-strength formulations for commonly used drugs like paracetamol, warning that multiple strengths confuse parents and lead to accidental overdosing in children. They emphasised adopting uniform strengths to prevent avoidable ICU admissions.
