The Supreme Court on Tuesday adjourned till August 18 the hearing on pleas by Sambhal’s Jama Masjid committee challenging the Allahabad High Court’s order upholding a survey in the Shahi Jama Masjid–Harihar temple dispute. The bench deferred proceedings after a request for adjournment was circulated.
