Delhi Police, after the July 20 Jantar Mantar protest that saw 30,000 demonstrators and violent clashes, has decided to revamp its intelligence system. Commissioner Anurag Kumar has directed the Intelligence Wing and Special Branch to gather detailed inputs on protesters’ mobilisation, organisers, funding, and local contacts.
