The Centre is considering extending PUCC validity for BS-VI vehicles to reduce compliance requirements for owners of cleaner vehicles. The proposal includes longer renewal periods for private and commercial vehicles while strengthening emission testing and encouraging the phase-out of older polluting vehicles
