Andhra Pradesh Chief Secretary K Vijayanand said over 11,000 electricity department employees were deployed during Cyclone Montha to prevent power disruptions. He assured full restoration by Thursday and praised staff for maintaining essential services despite severe weather.

Only 40 percent of the repair works were completed so far and it was likely to take some more time to finish the entire work.
