A local court in Hyderabad has summoned actor Allu Arjun and 19 others in connection with the Sandhya Theatre stampede during the Pushpa 2 premiere. The court directed them to appear on June 22 after examining the police chargesheet
The video captures the events of December 4 when Allu Arjun attended the premiere of Pushpa-2 at Sandhya 70mm theatre with his family. Hyderabad Police Commissioner CV Anand stated that the police had previously informed the theatre management about the potential risks of an uncontrolled situation and a stampede if the actor were invited.
In response to the actor’s arrest, Revathi's husband, M Bhaskar, publicly stated that he was willing to withdraw the case. "I am ready to withdraw the case. My son wanted to watch the film, so we went there. Allu Arjun has nothing to do with the stampede that caused my wife’s death," he told the media.
