Sri Lankan captain Chamari Athapaththu etched her name in history by becoming the first Sri Lankan woman to score 4,000 ODI runs during the Women’s World Cup 2025 match against Bangladesh. Her 46-run innings also made her the fourth Asian woman to reach the milestone.
