The ICC has suspended Sri Lanka captain Wanindu Hasaranga for two matches and docked a fine of 15 per cent on the match fee of Afghanistan wicketkeeper-batter Rahmanullah Gurbaz for breaching its Code of Conduct during the third T20I in Dambulla.
In addition to this, one demerit point has been added to Gurbaz's disciplinary record, for whom it was the first offence in 24 months, the ICC informed in a press release on Tuesday.
The world body said the awards will recognise the best performances of both male and female cricketers across all forms of international cricket throughout the year.
