The Ram Temple donation embezzlement case in Ayodhya escalated on Friday as Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust General Secretary Champat Rai and member Anil Mishra resigned on moral grounds. Their exit followed an SIT’s preliminary findings of serious lapses in donation management.
An FIR has been registered in Ayodhya over alleged embezzlement of donations at the Ram temple. Acting on strong recommendations from the Special Investigation Team (SIT), formed at the request of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust.
The SIT probing alleged irregularities in Ram Mandir donations has submitted its initial findings to the Uttar Pradesh government, flagging procedural lapses and discrepancies in fund handling. A final report is expected soon, following further investigation into the matter
