Independent MP Rajesh Ranjan alias Pappu Yadav’s press conference in New Delhi turned chaotic on Sunday evening when a man hurled a slipper at him and allegedly attempted to brandish a knife. The assailant, identified as Sumit from Bulandshahr, was detained after being thrashed by supporters.
