A drone strike on a crowded market in Ghubaysh, West Kordofan province of Sudan, killed 28 civilians and injured dozens, according to a local rights group. The army denied targeting civilians, claiming it struck Rapid Support Forces vehicles instead.
"The RSF carried out a brutal attack on Jalqni village in Abu Hujar locality, Sinnar state, following a five-day siege, resulting in at least 80 deaths," the Sinnar Youth Gathering reported in a statement on Friday.
