The Women and Child Development Ministry has urged the States to adhere to the advisory while implementing take-home rations and hot cooked meals

MLA Veeraiah said the government has sanctioned around nine lakh new ration cards across the State to benefit the poorer sections.

The state government has purchased 9,260 mobile vehicles worth Rs 539 crores for distributing rice and other essential commodities to ration card holders at their doorstep.
