On January 26, protesting farmers had clashed with police during the tractor rally against the Centre's three farm laws and stormed into the Red Fort.

On February 23, the court sent the accused to judicial custody for 14 days in connection with the Red Fort violence during farmers' tractor rally against the Centre's three new farm laws.

The petition has sought removal of people squatting under the garb of farmers agitation and clear all the roads and public places.

Jaspreet Singh, a resident of Swaroop Nagar in northwest Delhi, was arrested by a Crime Branch team on Saturday.

The suspect, has "disclosed to have been radicalised by seeing provoking Facebook posts of various groups".
