Biden administration officials condemned the February 15 rocket attack near the city of Irbil in Iraq's semi-autonomous Kurdish-run region.

The rockets were fired from the Qalandarkhil area in Parwan province, TOLO News quoted a provincial spokesperson as saying.

"Based on initial information, eight people were martyred, and 31 others were wounded," Interior ministry spokesman Tariq Arian said, noting the final toll would change.
