The government has launched the Pradhan Mantri Viksit Bharat Rozgar Yojana (PMVBRY) portal to create 3.5 crore jobs in two years. The Rs 1-lakh crore scheme offers incentives to both employers and first-time employees to encourage fresh hiring and job creation

The Centre will be offering Rs 15,000 in two installments to first-time EPFO-registered employees. Employers hiring new staff will also receive incentives, aiming to create 3.5 crore jobs by 2027

With an approved outlay of Rs 22,810 crore, the scheme entails subsidy for two years to new employees drawing monthly wages of less than Rs 15,000.
