The ACB seized Rs 43,300 in unaccounted cash from staff at the Zaheerabad RTA check post during a Sunday morning raid. Officials said the money was collected as bribes from vehicles crossing the Telangana–Karnataka border.
The RTA officials recruited some private personnel unofficially to collect money from each passing vehicle and Rs 35, 000 unauthorised cash was found during the raids.
