A plane carrying 49 people, including five children and six crew members, vanished from radar over Russia’s Far Eastern Amur region. The flight was en route from Blagoveshchensk to Tynda when contact was lost, local authorities confirmed on Thursday.
An Antonov An-26 plane with 22 passengers and six crew members, flying from the city of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky to the town of Palana, missed a scheduled communication.
