Mamata Banerjee has swiftly removed Saayoni Ghosh and Mala Roy from leadership roles in the TMC’s youth and women’s wings, replacing them with loyalists Arnab Banerjee and Alifa Ahmed.
Several prominent Trinamool Congress women MPs and MLAs, including Mahua Moitra, Saayoni Ghosh, Menaka Guruswamy, and Sagarika Ghosh, have reportedly gone missing from the political scene after the party’s defeat in the West Bengal Assembly election.
