Security forces in Jammu and Kashmir’s Samba district launched searches after Pakistani drones were spotted over forward villages. The BSF and local police are cordoning off areas to prevent possible airdrops of weapons or narcotics.

Two alleged inter-state narcotic smugglers were arrested and heroin was recovered from them in Jammu and Kashmir's Samba district.
