The law, endorsed by King Maha Vajiralongkorn and published in the Royal Gazette, will take effect in 120 days. This allows LGBTQ+ couples to register their marriages starting in January, making Thailand the third Asian country, after Taiwan and Nepal, to legalize same-sex marriage.
