The actor, who was summoned by the police in connection with a stampede incident during screening of ‘Pusha 2: The Rule’ movie at Sandhya Theatre, arrived at Chikkadpally Police Station in Ashok Nagar at 11.05 am here on Tuesday.

While all arrangements are being made by the police at Chikkadpally police station in anticipation of appearance of actor Allu Arjun in connection with the Sandhya theatre stampede case, suspense continues with a huge crowd expected to gather again.

Earlier, the police had in the court argued and stated that they had asked the management to ask the actor not to attend the show. Now the letter was made public bringing a new twist in the story.

Stating that he is “absolutely fine”, the actor urged his fans not to worry.

Ashwini Vaishnaw said that the mishap at Sandhya Theatre was a clear case of poor arrangements by the state and local administration.

The letter seeking bandobast in view of the possible overcrowding is drawing criticism from citizens, who blame the police department for not providing adequate bandobast.

Harish Rao rebuked the Congress government for a series of governance failures, leading to deaths of citizens.

The arrested are M Sandeep (37) partner at Sandhya theatre, M Nagaraju (51), manager and Gandhakam Vijay Chander (53), lower balcony incharge at the theatre.

The film starring Allu Arjun has also set a new record of the highest-ever single-day earnings in Indian cinema, collecting Rs. 294 crores.
