Private schools and colleges in the erstwhile Adilabad district are facing criticism for delays in obtaining fitness certificates for their buses. Transport officials warned of strict action against non-compliant vehicles, while parents voiced concerns over student safety ahead of school reopening.
Ahead of the new academic year beginning June 12, the Telangana School Education department warned private schools against operating unfit buses, overloading students and employing unlicensed drivers. Schools were directed to follow all transport safety norms and obtain necessary permissions
