The South Central Railway (SCR) facilitated the onward journey of 1,226 passengers stranded at Kazipet after train diversions caused by Cyclone Murasu. Besides operating a special train to Vijayawada, the railway provided food, refreshments, additional stoppages and round-the-clock operational monitoring to ensure passenger safety and convenience.
