Actor Prateik Smita Patil paid an emotional tribute to his late mother, veteran actress Smita Patil, on her birth anniversary. Sharing pictures from his wedding to Priya Banerjee, he described his mother as his “guardian angel” and recalled her enduring presence.

In the video, the director can be seen smoking a pipe as the two actors bring their character alive sonically. One of the clips also shows Smita Patil crying while placing the pallu of her saree on her mouth.
Prateik and Priya exchanged the vows on February 14. The theme of the wedding was pastel. While Prateik looked dapper in his beige coloured sherwani, Priya donned a crepe coloured lehenga.
