According to the gazette notification issued by the Centre on this October 16, sub-Collector, Kataram, revenue divisional officer, Bhupalpally and additional Collector (revenue), Peddapalli would be the competent authority to carry out the process of land acquisition
It might be noted that there is an existing railway line connecting both the stations via Kothagudem, Warangal and Kazipet being used for both coal transportation as well passenger trains.
