India successfully test-launched the Agni-1 short-range ballistic missile from the Integrated Test Range at Chandipur, Odisha. The Ministry of Defence confirmed that the launch validated all operational and technical parameters under the Strategic Forces Command.
DRDO and the Strategic Forces Command successfully tested the 2,000-km range Agni-Prime missile from a rail-based launcher, marking India’s first such trial. The system enhances mobility, quick launch capability, and strengthens India’s strategic arsenal.
