The Telangana IAS Officers’ Association has complained to Hyderabad police against certain private news channels for airing allegedly defamatory and baseless content targeting women officers and a State minister. A case has been registered and investigations are under way.
The IAS and IPS Officers’ Associations have condemned a vernacular news channel for airing defamatory and fabricated allegations against women IAS officers, demanding an unconditional public apology and withdrawal of the content, while warning of legal action against those responsible.
