Nidhish Shyamal and Yashvi Jain emerged winners in the boys' and girls' sections respectively at the Telangana State Under-17 Chess Championship held at Vikas Concept School in Bachupally. Pavan Karthikeya Varma and Sreesha Kandi finished runners-up respectively
The Telangana State Under-17 chess championship will be held at Vikas Concept School in Bachupalli on August 22 and 23. The top two players in the boys and girls sections will represent Telangana at the forthcoming Nationals
